Kamalhaasan takes a leap to revive his ambitious project

Actor Kamalhaasan was in rest for several months, after fracturing his leg due to a accident in his Chennai office. The shooting of Sabash Naidu was then stopped indefinitely and the reports say it will be started very soon.

And now the reports say that Kamalhaasan has recently flied to USA to meet Lyca chairman Subashkaran, and this meeting is all about reviving his ambitious project Marudhanayagam.

The shooting for the film commenced in 1997 with the presence of British Queen Elizabeth. Later the project was stopped halfway due to financial troubles. And now Kamalhaasan is taking focused steps to revive the project as soon as possible with the funding of Lyca productions.

Lyca has already become a biggest movie makers in India with more than 1000 crore rupees of investment into the Indian cinema. Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is their biggest venture with a budget of 400 crore Rupees.

So if all goes well, the announcement about Marudhanayagam will be out very soon.
