It was just a couple of days back when Ranveer Singh injured his shoulder while playing a football match. It was said that the actor will not perform at the opening ceremony of IPL 2018.
Now the actor has informed us of his injury via his social media handle. He posted a message on his Twitter handle which reads “Thank you for the good wishes everyone. I’m good. Its just a labral tear in my left shoulder. I intend to come back stronger. Love you all” with emoticons ahead.
For the uninitiated labral tear is “One of these conditions is an injury to a small structure in the shoulder called the labrum. A labral tear can cause pain and a catching sensation in the shoulder. Labral tears can be very difficult to diagnose” according to a leading medical portal.
A leading daily quoted about Ranveer’s injury “Ranveer Singh has injured his shoulder during a football match and has been advised not to over strain it for at least 1 month. Ranveer is, however, not taking any breaks and will continue shooting for Gully Boy as per schedule.”
“Ranveer is in consultation with the doctors who will advice him, in a day or two, on whether he would able to perform at this year’s IPL opening ceremony in which he is doing the finale act.”
Meanwhile, Ranveer will be next seen in the film Gully Boy opposite Alia Bhatt.
